is a small village on the South West Coast of Devon, in designated an area of outstanding beauty, near to the River Yealm estuary.
Wembury offers beautiful coastal paths with breathtaking views leading along the cliffs. A five minute drive will take you to the popular family beach, with surfing, rock rambling, horse riding, small marine centre and Old Mill cafe. Taking the cliff path to the left will bring you to the River Yealm, where a small ferry will take you over to the beautiful village of Newton Ferrers. Taking the path to your right will bring you to Heybrook Bay, all with outstanding views to the Mewstone, a small island. Wembury has a local pub which also provides good food and for that special occasion, historic Langdon Court Hotel, just one mile away, where in the early 1900's, Royal visitors King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra were guests. The village also has a park, including tennis, a Post Office, two churches and a well stocked village shop.
